Aspiring Digital Engineering Developer
Designing safe,
predictable systems.
With experience in systems programming and using static type systems to reduce ambiguity and simplify problems, I seek to produce coherent, digital systems that embody compositionality, safety, and reproducibility. I am looking for an opportunity to contribute to NASA as a Digital Engineering Developer Intern at the Johnson Space Center, where I could contribute to the normalization and formalization of digital engineering systems using SysML, and where I could put to good use my Python and Bash scripting skills.
Strengths & Focus
I am committed to continuous development, adapting and learning new mathematics, languages, and frameworks as needed or when proven beneficial for overall development as a systems developer and digital engineer.
Technical Skills
Python, Rust, JavaScript, Lua, Bash, Docker/Podman, Nix/NixOS, Linux System Administration, OOP and Procedural Programming
Problem Solving
From brainstorming on the chalkboard to finalizing code for production, I take time to consider all problem-spaces holistically, properly defining each component's interface to maximize predictability at runtime.
Collaboration
As an open-source developer and maintainer, I spend time collaborating on GitHub, both working on existing projects, as well as coordinating and merging others' contributions.
